Day 204: $1 to Youth Programs thru Salvation Army

I went to Kroger's yesterday looking for some low fat ice cream (it's still 99 degrees). There was the Salvation Army bucket--looking like the exact same bucket that is rolled out at Christmastime--with a sign that donations would go to Youth Programs. I trust the Salvation Army more than I trust random people who try to sell you suspect candy bars and gummy bears in retail parking lots, so I contributed a dollar. Amazingly, so did another man. In fact, I had to briefly wait in line to donate to the Salvation Army bucket in July. For two reasons, usually that's not the case.
